This is the sky I saw as I was taking an early evening walk by my parents home. I loved the cloud formations and the beautiful radiant colors. This was a nice change from my usual subject matter.

Thanks to El Nino the wildflowers in the foothills are abundant this year.

I thought I would try my hand at capturing this scene from a recent

drive in the foothills. I would have preferred to work in "plein aire" but 

working from a photograph will have to do this time.
