Calla Lillies are one of my favorite flowers. I just love how structural and
dramatic they can be. I don't usually work from photographs but I knew I wouldn't
have time to paint this beautiful flower from my garden so I photographed it.
I took several photos of it outdoors in the beautiful golden light right before sunset.
Using my iPad to view the photo worked out beautifully, I loved how I could
enlarge the part of the photo I was working on. This may be a good solution
for painting flowers from my garden!
